Musika, the African Market

Musika, the market, is not just a business transaction; it is an enriching cultural experience, where one traverses from the familiar to almost surreal realms. All the while nudged along from one stall to another by the rhythm of a drum, or the click of a tongue in one of the many dialects, or is it the soft giggling of a shy pubescent girl, or the putter of tiny bare feet of children and, or perhaps the unwelcome but persistent bleating of the ever present goats. This cacophony, always accompanied by the heavy scents, sometimes sweet but mostly bitter and bordering on obscene, creates a shopping experience that is unique. We cannot recreate that on the internet, but we can at least try to give you access to the commodities.
